Gmail already has Undo and Trash

Use Gmail if the short Undo banner is enough. Use TriageBox if you want a lasting tray after you close the popup.

Gmail’s own Undo and Trash are free and correct. TriageBox 2.02 is the narrower job: after archive or delete from the Chrome popup, keep a Recently removed list for 24 hours (newest 20) so you can Restore even after the toast is gone. First-time install still shows Google’s unverified-app screen.

Quick answers

Undo archive Gmail

How do I undo archive in Gmail from a Chrome extension?

After you archive or delete from the TriageBox popup, a toast offers Undo. There is also a persistent Recently removed tray (↩ beside Refresh). It keeps the last 24 hours, newest 20 rows, with subject, from, Archived vs Deleted, and a Restore button. Restores go back to the inbox (and unread when that was recorded). Trash items use the trash restore path. No AI key. No TriageBox server. Desktop Chrome only.

What does Switch first mean on Restore?

Restore uses the active mailbox token. If the row was removed under another connected account, the button is locked as Switch first until you switch to that mailbox.

Is this the same as keep unread, spam review, or delete old mail?

No. Keep unread leaves a conversation unread after peeking. Spam review Delete entire folder empties Spam. Delete old mail is an age sweep. This page is undo/restore for archive and delete from the popup, including recent bulk-sweep undos when available.

Does my mail go through a TriageBox server?

No. There is no developer-operated backend. Processing runs in your browser; Gmail data is not sent to the publisher.
